Appealing an authority’s decision
If you have received a decision you are not happy with, you can appeal it or ask for a review. It is often urgent — appeals usually have a deadline of three weeks from the day you received the decision. Insyna helps you write the appeal in time.

Review or appeal?
In some cases an authority is obliged to review a decision that is clearly wrong, if it can be done quickly and easily. An appeal instead goes to a higher body, often an administrative court, which reviews the decision afresh. The appeal is submitted to the authority that made the decision, which forwards it together with the case file.
The decision you received should state how and within what time you can appeal — a so-called appeal notice (besvärshänvisning). If it is missing, or the decision is unclear, Insyna helps you request a clarification.
How Insyna helps you
Upload the decision so Chydenius can read it. The AI identifies which body to turn to, which grounds are relevant, and how best to phrase your case. The goal is a clear, factual appeal that arrives before the deadline runs out.
Appeals usually have a deadline of three weeks from the day you received the decision.

Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to appeal?
Usually three weeks from the day you received the decision. The deadline is stated in the appeal notice within the decision. If you miss it, the decision becomes final and normally can no longer be appealed.
Where do I send my appeal?
To the authority that made the decision, not directly to the court. The authority checks that the appeal arrived on time and then forwards it to the correct higher body.
Does it cost anything to appeal?
Appealing an administrative decision to the administrative court is normally free. You also do not need a legal representative in order to appeal.
What happens after I submit my appeal?
The authority that made the decision first checks whether your appeal arrived within the deadline and whether the decision should be changed on review. If not, it forwards your appeal together with the case file to the higher body, usually the administrative court, for a fresh assessment.
Can I appeal if the decision letter has no appeal notice?
You can, and you should ask the authority to send you the missing appeal notice (besvärshänvisning) — without it, the normal three-week deadline generally does not start running against you.
The email we send
This is the actual email Chydenius writes and sends to the authority for you — in correct Swedish, anonymously (never in your name), always asking for a reply by email. You don’t need to write Swedish yourself.
