Your patient rights
Under the Patient Data Act you have the right to see your full medical record and to obtain a log showing who has opened it. If you have suffered a healthcare injury, you can report it to the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) and seek compensation.
Other people’s medical records are protected by very strong confidentiality and are never released. The same applies to information about other patients in a complaint case.

Yes. The Patient Data Act applies to both public and private healthcare providers, so you have the same right to a copy of your record regardless of who provided the care.
